Oil Painting Classes - Materials List

Once you have registered for your classes you will receive an email to confirm the studios full address.  Please check your spam folder if you do not receive the email within 24 hours. If you have questions, you can call John Varriano at 917-821-5560.

Canvas

• It is recommended that students purchase three canvases.  One canvas for each class.    Choose cotton canvas (less expensive) or linen canvas (higher quality) in the size you prefer.  Suggested canvas size 14 x 17 inches or 18 x 24 inches.  Note:  If students plan on working on the same subject during each class they may purchase one canvas instead of three.

• Paint palette with hole for thumb.

Oil Paints and Brushes

• Oil paints and brushes used during your classes are provided by the art studio of John Varriano Inc.  Note: If students have their own oil paints and brushes they would like to use, they are welcome to bring them to class.
